Hey to all my Goldens. Edward arrived in great condition; Becky must have sent him with a treat or two for the trip. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that the Charity event I have been working towards for almost a year was yesterday , the WALK, WHEEL AND WOBBLE for ATAXIA, and Edward was most helpful in the kick-off. Enclosing a pic. I will continue to add to the blog as our adventures here in Southwest Florida unfold. Hint: Edward is anxious to taste some Gator.......
I've got so much to do that I will post only a couple of pictures now... the story will come later. These pictures show Edward with Mr. Pirate Potato Head... and, yes, there is a story.... , Edward in Quebec City with the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in the background, and Edward at Peggy's Cove near Halifax, Nova Scotia. Ok...this is it....I finally get around to putting my post on here about my Adventures with Edward.....but I saved the best for last....

We had soooooo much fun......and now.....it is Barbie's turn to tell us all about her Adventures with Edward......

Ok girls....here is the best part of my trip with Edward to Disney World....No...it was not in getting to meet Mickey, or Minnie....or even Donald or Alice in Wonderland....it wasn't even in seeing Mary Poppins....(no picture with her.....oh well)
Nope....My dear sweet friends....the best part was in the meeting of the other Gloden Coven Ladies.....I have to tell you.....I had the best vacation.....but the very best part of all was meeting these ladies....my only complaint was that it didn't last longer.....
and when I say I miss them now....I truely, truely mean it.....
it is the strangest thing in the whole wide world....but ...you all know how much we want to meet each other.....well....let me tell you.....the meeting is just half of it...because once you actually meet....you want to stay that connected.....you want to visit with them every day.....or at the very least...once a week. I feel so very fortunate to have been able to meet these ladies....my sisters....I feel very fortunate indeed.....and that they consider me a friend and that we all charish that friendship....well...I can't explain how that feels....it is my heart!!
So....whithout further....yapping.....here are some of the pictures of that wonderful night when we all met and there is a picture of all of us at the resturant with the girls from my dd's twimoms group.....it was a wonderful evening....that ended much too soon....and I truely cannot wait until I can do that again.....and girls.....let me just say here......I love you all very much....
Barbie...Kelly....Sharon....Your love and friendship means the world to me....and this was a very special evening indeed....It's tops on my life list!!
Hey everyone....sorry I didn't get back on here and post any more pics of Edwards Adventure with me in Disney World....but once I got home.....RL took over and I haven't had time....
but now....Barbie is just back from her wonderful cruise....and they had sooooooo much fun.....just wait til you hear about her adventures with Edward....wow!!

Hello all.....Edward and I are still having fun at Disney World......it's been hot hot hot!!!! it's a good thing Edward is so "cool"....helps me make it thru the day....
Was going to post pics as we go thru everything....but the wifi connection here is EXTREMELY SLOW!!! so we gave up.....I will, however, be showing you lots of pics when we get back home....

Edward will be going on his "birthday" cruise with Barbie........
Today we are going back to disney for the last time.....(tomorrow is rest day, before I meet Barbie, Kelly, and Sharon....yeah!!!!)....and...today is our shopping day.....my dh flew home Wednesday...so he is not here to tell me not to spend my money.....bwahahahahahahaha

Hey ya'll...hope this works....I am hoping to post about Edwards arrival in Pensacola.... he got here yesterday afternoon.....and let me tell you....he and Maisie have become an item.....she just loves him.....they even took a nap together......I put pics at the gc page....
Today, Edward went to work with me.....he was going to bite my boss....but when he got close to his neck....he realized his blood wouldn't be good enough to consume....
so....he had his fingerprints done instead.....I'll post a pic of that...
Then we went next door to my dh's coin store....and Edward had to help him make a few sells.... then he found this really cool coin....really big....it was a 1901 ...very cool!! but the dh wouldn't let us have it....worth too much money he said....blah!!
When we left there, to go out to dinner....we stopped by one of my favorite stores....The Florida Bama Fever Store....and what we saw there.....well....Kelly would just love it all!!!
it was lots of Gator stuff.....and an awesome picture of Tebow.....and.....he found the perfect wine glass for our friday night toast!!
I'll try to post some of those pics too.....I will do one first then come back and do more...wanna make sure they aren't too big.....
Saturday morning we leave for Disney World.....we are hoping we get to meet Tinkerbell.....

Make sure you get me the pictures you want to put on the DVD (either via email or .jpg files or cd) so I can download them and get it set to music. We'll do it chronologically so as Edward moves around the country his adventure gets captured in pictures and music. I would maybe suggest something like "Let's get this Party Started" by Pink for the first entry. Any other suggestions I'm all ears. Patty

What a great experience this has been!! As soon as I get my film developed (I only have a disposable film camera..I TOLD YOU I'M TECHNOLOGY CHALLANGED!!) I'll post some pics of Edward at the Con!
As I always say.......I will try to make this short story just that....a short story. For those of you that don't know, a good friend of mine that I met on the TM site, Karen G. sent me a 6ft. free standing cardboard cut out of Edward. It took a while to get used to him being in the house you know he's very quiet and doesn't move around much. Sometimes after you leave the room and then you walk back in Edward is just there...in all his glory....your heart skips a beat or thumps a little faster....in a good way. It's like in the movie when Bella wakes and thinks she sees Edward at the end of her bed.....and that is exactly where I put him when he first came to stay with me. I liked waking up to that in the morning but it was a little difficult to get around, so I moved him.
I was moving him on the morning of Feb. 1 2009 and as I picked him up and crossed the room, first there was a loud noise and then Edward was jerked out of my arms....thrown to the floor. I had forgotten about my ceiling fan.His head had hit one of the blades and it had broken off and as it was falling the jagged edge missed my eye by inches.....I'm not exaggerating about this....inches....from my eye. It was like slow motion ....flew by still spinning and almost clipped my shoulder. I searched Edward from tip to bottom (not an unpleasant thing to do even with cardboard) and the only damage was a tiny chunk of hair that was missing and a bent piece of hair that was easy to move back into place. I picked up the paddle that had almost decapitated both of us and girls....let me tell you.....it had broken where the metal part was.....yea Edwards hair broke metal.
I am more careful now when I move Edward around..... I'm very watchful of any ceiling fans, vengeful vampires or the Volturi even though they would be no match for my flat Edward.
No vampires or old women who feel 17 were hurt during the making of this adventure.......
Hope that Edward is having a fun time at the convention!! Can't wait to see pictures and hear about his adventures!! Have a good evening everyone!! And here is a picture of me!

Edward has arrived in San Ramon California on Valentines Day! How cool is that! He will be coming to school with me next week so I can show him off to all my students and fellow teachers!
I'm getting better at this uploading stuff all the time. Here finally is a picture of my user name's inspiration, Morning Glory. She is the grey on the right and was the sweetest mare and I miss her greatly. I have a new boy who is pictured here with my sister Erin. His name is Marco NA (NA stands for North Arabians who were kind enough to practically give me this young horse, I bought him way below market value). Anyway, enough of that. I suggested to TC early on in the Edward Golden Adventure that I could do a DVD of all the pictures taken by all of you as Edward travels the expanse of the coven. I've done several of these slideshow DVDs, set to music, for friends when we've traveled together. I put music together for horse shows so I have over 11,000 pieces of music available or can easily download whatever you would like to use with your pictures if I don't have it already. If you all are interested I would need you to email your photos (jpg files) or send me a disk of your pictures that I can download, I'll mix it with the music and add some graphics for introducing each leg of the adventure and then burn a copy for everyone that participated. Let me know what you think and if your interested. Patty

If you want to post a picture, above where you type your text in there is a whole row of different icons and things to format your post.....third from the RIGHT is a picture, yes, it is a picture, click on that it gives you options, add a picture from your computer or add an image from the web....you can choose where in your post you want it.....I have added my current fave of Edward....errrr Rob......I don't think that Alice would have ever let him out of the house in this shirt...oops, that's because I took that picture of him here at my house.....LOL!!!! and I wouldn't let him out of the house either!! ENJOY!

Here is the list for Edward as it was requested...If we use flat rate priority mail, it doesn't matter about trying to route the package because it is one price anywhere in the country, so we can just go down the list unless there are specific requests...If it is not a good time for the next person on the list, then they can be skipped and tried again on the next round. :)

Let me begin at the beginning and the beginning is"Twilight." I eventually would read all the books (several times and counting) but it was after reading the first that led me to TMs, which is where I met Karen G and we became sister close in no time. Now when Karen told me she was sending me a Twilight poster I was very grateful.....of course I didn't know where a 55 year old woman should hang a poster of a 17 year old vampire.....I mean that hadn't come up on any HGTV shows I'ld seen. Well it turned out I didn't have to worry about it because my poster was actually a 6 ft -free standing-cardboard-beautiful- cut out of Edward......flat Edward to those of us that know him personally. I was thrilled beyond words (and that's not easy for me) and I couldn't stop giggling like a little girl.
So how do you repay someone for a cardboard gift that makes you feel young again just from the humor in it. Well you haul flat Edward to the State Park and prop him up by a sign on a busy highway and take a picture of him. And you do it fast......before the Game Warden or a friendly motorist stops to ask if you need any help....I've got a 6 ft Edward in the back of my car of course I need help. And then you rush home to post it for your friend and all the other members of your Golden Coven to see. And with that I gave back the gift of laughter and possibly some giggles and we all felt like little girls again. What a glorious gift....for anybody to open.....and with that Edward's Golden Adventures began..............mic
OK.... let's see if I can find my way without stumbling too much....but remember Bella stumbled quite a bit and look what she ended up finding.............mic
